Have you ever dreamed of owning a classic car but were scared off due to the lack of creature comforts, safety, gas mileage, and costs? Then this Thunderbird may be for you!

Kinja'd!!!

Earlier this morning, I posted a !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! which has been getting mixed results. The majority say CP however. I think this is due to the fact that it is still made from two older cars. This car hopefully fixes that.

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

Kinja'd!!!

This was at one point, a 1995 Ford Thunderbird LX. It was fully loaded with a V8, automatic transmission, leather, and power everything. For what it was, it was decent. But the owner wanted to add some retro flair. The best way to do that in his opinion, was to make it look like a 50s muscle car.

Kinja'd!!!

To do this, he did a lot of modifications. First, a whole new front end. This looks like a lot of chrome. I do not know a lot about old cars, so I don’t know what it is from (posting doesn’t specify).

Kinja'd!!!

The back is even more unique. It has been squared off, and given new taillights. It is kind of cool how they form a body crease on the side. It then has new exhaust pipes and another big chrome bumper.

Kinja'd!!!

Along the sides, we get this unique grey and white two tone paint. I think it looks kind of dumb due to the lack of rounded edges on this 90s Ford, but to each their own. It also has some new rubber and rims.

Kinja'd!!!

The whole car has been rebuilt. This included engine, transmission, brakes, and interior. The only reason I could think of this being done was that it was either abused or wrecked. That would also explain the change in body style. This is not mentioned anywhere in the ad however.

Kinja'd!!!

The owner is asking $15,000 for this… umm… classic? He is also open to trades. Are you interested?

NPOCP?

They had to make the trunk smaller to make it look more "retro." Irony abounds.

The execution of the nose looks pretty good, in my opinion.

The rear, on the other hand...no, just no.

CP as is, if the price was $5k less and it had a better looking rear, then I'd say NP.

Definitely.

Kinja'd!!!

...this is what a '50 Ford rear is supposed to look like.

With this, they didn't mold a recess for the license plate, they just stuck it on, and the bumper doesn't stick out like that, either.

I like 1950 Shoebox Fords. I like Thunderbirds. Together they are like peanut butter and gumballs.
